Biblical Counseling

Here at Redeemer, we take counseling seriously. We believe the Bible is sufficient—it provides all we need to solve life's problems ("His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness . . . " (2 Peter 1:3).

We train counselors. Redeemer Biblical Counseling Training Institute (RBCTI) just began its 8th year on September 15. Check us out here.

We also offer biblical counseling, both to our members and to the community, free of charge.

Worldview Quotes & Queries

     Life is so hard sometimes.

Why? What's the purpose?

I devoted myself to study and to explore
by wisdom all that is done under heaven.
What a heavy burden God has laid on
men! I have seen all the things that are
done under the sun; all of them are
meaningless, a chasing after the wind.
               —Ecclesiastes 1:13-14

God has so arranged life in a sinful,

cursed world that it disappoints those
who seek satisfaction in anything but
Him … That very frustration which he
calls vexation of spirit … is the result
of God’s merciful grace intended to
        shift a person’s preoccupation with
himself and his works (the fruit of his
own labors). Instead, the hope is that
he may find what he seeks in God and
        in
His works.
